27
I have made it to 27, what a blessing. This year I feel so blessed; being a wife and mom, having my family live so close, amazing friends, and so much more. I have experienced and learned so much over the years. I felt like sharing some of the things I have learned with you all. Hopefully, you are already doing these things or plan on it. Ah this is gonna be fun...
Lean on and trust God at all times, have faith
Make time for you, self care is important
Spend as much time with family and close friends as you can
Travel, get out there and see what the world has to offer
Save money, but also treat yourself once and a while
Don't be a slave to your job, have a good work-life balance
Learn how to say no
Pay off debt as soon as possible, it is the best feeling!
Exercise is such an easy way to feel good and can make a huge difference in your mood
Always trust your gut and listen to your body (now my anxiety & depression are under control)
Take care of others and show kindness, even a simple hello can change someone's day
Spring cleaning often helps keep your house free of clutter
Get a dog because they are the best
Stop eating junk and eat clean, you can still eat sweets, but watch what it is made out of
No tanning beds, use sunscreen and self tanner
Social media is cool, but don't let it consume you and remember not everything is always as it seems
Love your life and if you don't, do what you have to do to fix that
Take care of the little kid inside of you; go to an arcade, an amusement park, or just be goofy
Stop caring what others think of you, be yourself.
Always be aware of your surroundings and keep yourself protected
You will make mistakes, so learn form them
It is okay to have a lazy day
A messy home with a baby means fun is being had, you can't keep a sparkling clean house and a happy baby at the same time (you can try, haha)
Have at least one date night per month with your spouse
Celebrate all the little wins
It is best to cut toxic people out of your life even if you considered them close friends or family
Always be grateful for your blessings
