Erin's Wedding Bible
Hello everyone, I feel like I have been gone for wayyy to long. Now that the wedding is done I have a bit more free time. When it was over I was like well, what do I do now? Haha. I didn't realize how much time planning really takes. It is so crazy how much you plan for a year for ONE day. When you start planning, I suggest giving yourself a year to plan, it is the perfect amount.
I thought I would kick off this Wedding Series with my first step in wedding planning. I think it is important to start with this because this is how I planned and kept track of EVERYTHING .

So first things first, I am a visual person, so I knew I needed something to bring with me that had inspiration and I could show to my vendors. I started with a 1 inch binder and had to switch to a 3-inch, so maybe start with a 3 inch binder because it will grow!

I started with getting inspiration from Pinterest or searching images on Google for what I had in my head. I took those pictures and made collages on Powerpoint. I printed these images out on cardstock and put in plastic sleeves.
My opinion on getting a wedding planner/ organizer is that it can be a waste of money. I was so excited and bought an Erin Condren planner, but only used it for a couple of months. I have an agenda to keep track of my life and I used that to put wedding appointments, so unless you feel you really need one, don't get one.
My opinion on getting a person wedding planner is that you don't necessarily need one, but you definitely need a day of coordinator! I planned my whole wedding and it was so funnnn! It got stressful at certain points, but nothing I couldn't handle. It is almost a part time job though, so if you don't think you can handle it or don't have time, then you may want to hire someone to assist (wedding planner).
Feel free to reach out if you have questions or want help creating your own wedding bible!
XOXO,
Erin
