DIY Christmas Ornaments

Bradley and I made his first ever ornaments. This is such an easy and fun activity for your little one. We bought a 6 pack of wood ornaments that came with red ribbon for $1.50 at Hobby Lobby. We also got red and green paint, and gold glitter. You will also need a black marker, white paint, 1-2 freezer plastic bag, and a paper plate.

1. Add the red and green paint on the ornaments. I then stuck 3 ornaments in one bag and another 3 in the other bag. You could probably put all 6 in the bag if you wanted. I put the glitter in with the ornaments. Close the bag(s) and give to your baby.

2. Let the baby play with the bag. Bradley grabbed it, slapped it, shook it, stepped on it, and bit it. All the things.

3. Take the ornaments out and place on some type of paper to dry. I let ours dry all day.

4. Add white paint onto a paper plate and place the baby's hand in it. My husband and I did this together because Bradley is hard to hold still. Place their hand with the paint on the ornament. I touched up some with a paint brush because as you can see it was hard to get a perfect handprint with a 9 month old.

5. Once the white paint dries you can add their name and year if you want. I love how these turned out. We all had fun doing it and making our first family Christmas memories.

XOXO,

E
