Valentine's Gift Guides & Message

Valentine's Day is a holiday that many people celebrate differently. Some people enjoy alone time in their home while watching a movie, others celebrate at dinner with besties, and then some celebrate with their loved ones.

Bobby and I normally have a lowkey Valentine's Day. He gets me flowers and chocolate and I give him his favorite snacks/chocolates with a funny card. We either order take-out from a Japanese restaurant or buy a pizza. This year may look different depending on when our baby boy decides to arrive.

Some people do gifts with one another, so I thought I would put together a couple of ideas in case you are stumped. I tried to keep the price tag at a $ -$$. Remember this day is a fun time to celebrate love and each other, but we should be intentional all year long to show our people how much we love them. Random acts of kindness towards each other throughout the year will be remembered a lot longer than a Valentine‘s date.

Gifts are nice and if you can give them, great, but if you have a tight budget here are some other ideas that won’t break the bank.

  • Stay at-home picnic (cook or order in and have a picnic in the living room)

  • Movie Date Night Basket (popcorn, favorite drink, candy, movie(s), blanket)

  • Homemade Card with a meaningful message

  • Flowers and favorite candy from your local grocery store

  • Develop a favorite picture or memory and write on the back a nice note

Have a great Valentine's Day!
