Your 20s are exciting, messy, fun, overwhelming, and full of figuring things out. It is a decade of learning who you are, making mistakes, growing up, and realizing that life rarely goes exactly as planned. Looking back, here are 20 things I learned in my 20s.

1. You do not have to have your whole life figured out.
Most people are just doing their best and learning as they go.
2. Real friendships matter.
You do not need a huge circle. A few people who truly care about you are enough.
3. Comparison steals joy.
Everyone is on a different timeline.
4. It is okay to say no.
Protecting your time and energy matters.
5. Your worth is not tied to your appearance.
You are more than your size, weight, or what you look like.
6. Some people are only meant to be part of one chapter of your life.
Not every friendship or relationship is supposed to last forever.
7. Save money when you can.
Even small amounts add up over time.
8. Rest is important.
You do not have to constantly be productive to be valuable.
9. Social media is not real life.
Most people only show the best parts.
10. You will survive hard seasons.
Even when it feels impossible, you will get through it.
11. It is okay if your goals change.
You are allowed to want different things as you grow.
12. You do not need to prove yourself to everyone.
The people who matter will see your value.
13. Home is more about who you are with than where you are.
The people around you make the biggest difference.
14. It is okay to ask for help.
You do not have to carry everything alone.
15. Life moves fast.
Take the pictures, go on the trips, and enjoy the little moments.
16. A peaceful life is more important than a perfect life.
Protect your peace whenever you can.
17. Confidence comes from being comfortable with who you are.
Not from trying to impress everyone else.
18. You can be grateful and overwhelmed at the same time.
Both can exist together.
19. The little things end up mattering the most.
Coffee dates, sunsets, late-night talks, and family dinners become the memories you hold onto.
20. You are stronger than you think.
You have made it through every hard day so far. Your 20s are not about having it all together. They are about learning, growing, and becoming who you are meant to be.
