Sound the Alarm- Bradley Turns 1

Bradley turned 1 and we went with a firefighter theme. I wanted to do something that was not as common for a first year birthday. When I came across the firefighter theme I thought Bradley Station 1 was perfect!

Before the party, I took pictures of Bradley at the fire station down the road from us with dad's gear. The pictures turned out so cute and were a perfect addition to the party.

The colors that I chose were red, yellow, and orange. Since my dad was a firefighter he let me borrow some of his old gear to lay out as decoration. Most of the decorations I got were from Amazon and Walmart. You can shop the items here.

One of my favorite decorations was the banner I made out of Bradley's monthly pictures. It was very easy to make. I printed out the pictures at Walgreens and taped them to a burlap string.

The party favors were stuffed puppy dogs from Stuffed Safari. They were a great price and had a nice return policy. I am going to return the extras. The kids loved that they could adopt a puppy of their own.

The party was at 2pm so the focus for food was more snacks and desserts. The snacks I had were Chick-Fil-A chicken nuggets (always a must have), bagel bites, soft pretzels, fruit & veggies, buffalo chicken dip, and mini weinies. For the desserts, we had decorated cookies (from Just Not the Cakes) and cupcakes. We got the smash cake from Publix for $10 and it was so yummy.

I had the upstairs set up for fun and the kids played up there the whole time. Sliding down into the ball pit, crawling over the foam mat, and playing with the toys kept them busy.

All in all the party was a success on that rainy Saturday. We felt so loved and grateful for our friends and family.
